Literature Circle JOBS for 1st and 2nd Grade, Guided Reading Groups

These are jobs for your literature groups in guided reading. I have made these kid friendly so that they are not too complicated for your kiddos! I use these for 2nd grade, but they can also be used in other grade levels.

The jobs that are included are:
-Willie the Word Wizard (whale)
-Dixie the Director (dog)
-Sammy the Summarizer (seal)
-Callie the Connector (cat)
-Allie the Artist (alligator)

There are 3 variations of each sheet (but they contain the same information). For example, there are some with the animal icon, some without the animal icon, some with the job name ("Callie the Connector"), and some without ("Connector").

You will also receive a full page sheet of each job. I put these on the front of the folders for that group. One child will receive a folder. So, if there are 5 kids in that reading group, each child will receive a different folder (different job).
